SMS Terms

SMS & Mobile Messaging Terms

1. Program Description

Gritworks Collective LLC ("Gritworks," "we," "us") operates an SMS messaging program to support users enrolled in our advising programs. By opting in to SMS during registration or through your profile settings, you consent to receive the message types described below from Gritworks Collective (short code or long code via Twilio).

2. Message Types

You may receive the following categories of text messages:

  • Onboarding Messages — A welcome text with your portal login link when you first sign up.
  • Streak & Consistency Reminders — Daily or weekly prompts to help you maintain your program momentum (if enabled in your profile).
  • Account Alerts — Important updates about your enrollment, billing, or account status.
  • Accountability Partner Texts — If you designate an Accountability Partner (AP), they will receive milestone texts on your behalf, capped at 1–2 per week. Your AP can opt out at any time by replying STOP.

3. Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your program activity and notification preferences. You may receive up to 2 messages per day during active program periods. You can reduce frequency or disable SMS entirely from your profile settings at any time.

4. Message & Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier rates for text messaging will apply based on your mobile plan. Gritworks Collective does not charge separately for SMS messages.

5. How to Opt Out (STOP)

You can cancel SMS messages at any time. Reply STOP to any text message from us to unsubscribe. After texting STOP, you will receive one final confirmation message and then no further messages will be sent.

You may also disable SMS notifications from the Settings section of your profile at any time.

7. Consent & Privacy

Your phone number is collected solely to send the messages described above. We will never sell or share your mobile number or SMS opt-in status with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.

SMS opt-in data and consent are excluded from all data sharing categories. This information will not be shared with any third parties. See our full Privacy Policy for details on how we protect your data.

8. Carrier Disclaimer

Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on your mobile carrier and network conditions.

9. Changes to These Terms

We reserve the right to update these SMS Terms at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated date. Continued use of our SMS program after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
